I have had this vaccum for a little over a month, and so far, it works fantastically! I use it almost daily, and it picks up everything in its path. The on board tools are great for vaccuming the sofa. I would definitley recommend this vacuum to anyone who needs a good vacuum on a budget.

I love to buy vacuums, even though I almost always end up disappointed. I have had a few of every brand...the last two Hoover windtunnels,
WOW WOW WOW!
Open the box and snap on the hose and put ONE screw in...thats it...you're done...within 60 seconds I knew it was a keeper by the volume of pet hair it picked up compared to my last....and it was soooo light and easy to maneuver!'
I hate the lame rotating brush hose tools. They never work and I usually throw them away...you know how as soon as they touch your couch cushion they quit moving?? So ready for a laugh I put this on one...stand back because it will rip your fingers off...thats some kickbutt power. It has like a gear/torque wheel so it has like 4 times the speed and it works as good as the full size vacuum at the bottom...I REALLY LOVE THIS VACUUM!
CONS? I wish the cord was longer...its not super short but I like longer...the dirt/waste bucket is kinda messy to dump...but I STILL would buy this again...what amazes me most? I got this at Kohls for $79 on sale and has a 30% coupon, so it was $55... I think I should go get another as a spare!

This Vacuum is one of the best Vacuum I brought it moves easily and picks up easy. These two things are highly important to me considering I'm in a wheelchair. I would prefer self propelled but for the price you can't beat the way it moves.

This vacuum is being used as a second machine to clean up after a 5 kittie household. We like it but would appreciate a few more attachments to get the floors clean. It does pick up well though. It makes a lot of noise but is effective.

I don't understand how some vacuums can cost four or five hundred dollars (or more); this Bissell was under 100-dollars - delivered - and it does a great job!
I'm a divorced guy who hates to vacuum. Having to change the bag on my old vacuum was a bugger...I never could tell exactly when I should change the bag. Well - with this Bissell, I just dump the container each time I vacuum; done. :-)
I'm not a dirty guy...I live in a second floor apartment and I remove my shoes as soon as I walk in the door, so it's not like I'm dragging dirt in the place. That said, I was still shocked by the amount of stuff this vacuum lifted off of my floors the first time (and every time since)! It gives one a feeling of accomplishment to dump the basket.
One more thing - the loudness of my last vacuum was partially to blame for me never wanting to vacuum my apartment. This Bissell is quiet, easy to maneuver, and the whole bagless thing is really the kicker. Oh, and even if this thing does decide to die on me in a few years, I still figure that I saved several hundred dollars by not selecting one of those really expensive models - so I can buy another Bissell and still have money left over! :-)
